Whether you’re going through a change, a life transition,or some kind of adversity, the first step to turn things around in a positive and powerful way is to take responsibility for your happiness, your joy, your health, your peace and your life!
To be at YOUR best, you must take responsibility for your reality through your thoughts, feelings and actions. This is an extremely important key, because when you fully take responsibility for your life and everything in it, you are stepping into YOUR POWER!
When you take responsibility for you happiness, your success, your livelihood, and your dreams, you:
Are claiming control and are in charge of your life;
Are free and can move forward in the direction that empowers you;
Can choose and create anything you want.
If you’re feeling down, out of control, or hopeless about your current circumstance, chances are consciously or subconsciously you are doing at least one the following:
Blaming people, things, or events for what’s going on in your life!
Playing the “victim” because you think things are happening to you and you have no control over anything!
Constantly complaining about something!
Be honest with yourself and ask: ” which of the above pattern(s) have I been running?” Whatever you come up with, avoid judging your answer! This is not about blaming yourself… It is simply about being aware of what hasn’t or isn’t working and shifting it!
Now ask yourself if you’re willing to let all that go and take charge of your life… (At this point, don’t worry so much about how you will do it! Just be willing to step into your power to move towards a positive direction, and take responsibility for your life!)
If the answer is “yes”, then take a deep breath and make the following declaration to yourself out loud:
“I now take full responsibility for my life and everything in it! I’m in control of choosing my thoughts, feelings, and actions!!! I claim back my power and know I have the strength, ability and the right to have and create the things I want in my life!”
Now, make a list of what you want to have or create in your life; appreciate and give thanks for everything you currently have; and put all your focus and energy into what you want to create by taking small or big daily actions!
This is a great start and the first step towards your joy and happiness.
