Life is about change! Every moment you breathe, you are making changes. The choices you make with regard to these changes lies in your scope of decision. In other words, how you choose to deal with any input that comes in to your conscious or subconscious must be dealt with. It is just a matter of how you choose to deal!

Life’s journey can be one of great reward and beauty, or you can make it a difficult trail to be blazed by hacking out a path, through the jungle of life!

You see, everyone of us face choices every moment of our lives, for some, we have been conscious of this opportunity for longer than others, making it much less effort to, “choose”, how we respond.

The subconscious, or as I like to think of it, the default living we perform most daily duties with, is set by past choices. Every time you are faced with a new experience, you make a choice on how you feel about that happening, you choose whether it holds negative or positive influence for you personally, though we very often are not aware of this choosing. When you have made enough of the choices, you are generally coming to the age of questioning your teachers.

Many times these, teachers, will be your parents, you begin to question why you may, must, or may not do as you are instructed. At first this is in a small way, however, by the time you reach puberty, in most cases, you will find pockets of choice, if you will, where you are storing private feelings and intentions that will affect your life, long after you reach maturity.

Consider a feeling that arises at some point in your life, where you had no idea how strongly you felt about the matter. If you were surprised to find these feelings, you may want to consider the basis for its effect. Perhaps you had an experience where you chose to bury some negative attitude about a situation you had no choice in as a youngster.

Should you find this to be the case, you just may find that by recognizing the issue that caused your feelings, you are capable of choosing how to look back on this event and remove the control it has had on your subconscious.

You see, change is always happening, it happens whether we like it or not! As with many changes, how we choose to view or accept the change will determine the effect it has or holds on our future.

Knowing that you can choose to change the effect a memory has on you, for example, is a wonderful key to your future happiness. You are in the driver’s seat of your life! No one else can move, change, or direct your thinking processes once you become aware of the great opportunity afforded you by design of the human race!

As you go through this life, let your journey be one of peace and joy, by determining how you will view your past, present and future! Allow the beauty of this world to permeate your entire being, let it flow through you as an emissary of God, to bring joy to the lives of others, just as He has designed for us to choose, our experiences on this earth.

Live by the Grace you have been granted!
