“If you have a sacred space and take advantage of it and use it every day, something will happen…Your sacred space is where you can find yourself again and again.“–Joseph Campbell
Your current situation is a gift, a teacher. I remember hearing years ago that “everyplace has its problems–just find a set of problems you can deal with.” It is time to release those problems and move into a life of fun, abundance, and luxury. How?
Understanding the power that YOU have to create a sacred space for yourself is the key to begin moving out of your funk and moving into your truth. Your sacred space can be a physical space, a retreat, or it can be a space within you. It is a safe harbor you visit in order to get in touch with your personal power. What do you do in that sacred space? You dream, you feel, you experience: you become the person you dream about. Being happy starts with feeling happy, however brief the moment.
The first step in my “Feelization” (this is my newly coined word) program is to acknowledge what you don’t want. Sometimes it is easier to know what you do not want rather than identifying what you do want. So, take a good look and identify what you do not like or want in your life right now. If you focus on lack, you attract more of the same. When you are happy you cannot feel inferior or insecure, sad or angry. Happiness, joy, appreciation, and gratitude all consist of high vibrations; therefore, you CANNOT attract the opposite. By attaching positive emotions and feelings to your dreams and expectations, you attract wonderful, and even unexpected, events and people into your life!
The next step in my “Feelization” program is to take what you don’t want and tweak it into what you DO want in your life. Take time to really dream and THINK about what you want, who you are with, and what you are doing. Formulate a dream. Many of us do not dream anymore. We think dreaming is a waste of time, when, in fact, it is great use of your time and energy. Dreaming starts the process of receiving. Dream big, or dream small. Small dreams cascade into larger dreams. The key is to feel and believe your desires.
A word of caution here–be careful when sharing your dreams with others. It takes just one look or comment to shoot down your dreams and pull you back into thinking “lack.” Guard them and only share with those who will nurture them and empower you in the process.
Now it is time to go to that sacred space and take the dreams you have formulated with you. “Feelization” is the magnetic source for true manifesting. Many of us have vision boards, vision journals, and affirmations written all over the place. My refrigerator displays my vision board. I see it, arrange it, and FEEL it throughout the day. Notice I said FEEL it–that’s the missing link to creative visualization. It is one thing to see the pictures, but quite another to close your eyes and allow your body to feel the moment when you walk into the new home, or get offered that huge contract, or spend that nice romantic weekend with someone you love…it is the feeling behind receiving a large check, the FEELING behind DEPOSITING that nice check into your healthy bank account…get the idea?
“Feelization” can be described as the “surround sound” of vision boards. Yes, it is about dreaming and getting your body and your energy centers involved. How does your heart center feel when you think about someone you love? Does it open and flutter? When you really feel something is in your reality, your heart may beat faster; you may feel a bit of excitement, anxiousness, joy and well-being. How wonderful does your stomach center feel when you get the job you have always wanted? It’s not just about seeing the situation, it is about encompassing the FEELINGS behind the visualization.
“Feelization” is the key to creation. Take some time right away to create your sacred space and get started on those dreams! Call on those dreams EVERY time you feel lack or fear or worry. Those dreams will raise your vibrations and bring to you opportunity instead of issue.
