Seeing the World As a Reflection of Ourselves

“Look around you. Look into the faces of everyone around you. They are all reflections of you.”

This beautiful statement was made as a woman stood and looked into the faces of 200 souls- who looked back at her and reflected the love and compassion she was feeling in that moment, amplified back to her 200 times. There was a palpable, unmistakable aura of unity and connection- an energy of which flowed through us all.

This statement is universally true for anyone, at any time. Look around you. What do you see? What you see is a reflection of you.

Why Is Gratitude So Important?

Gratitude is a state of mind that comes from really appreciating what you have already and being thankful for it. If you can truly look at your life and everything in it and be grateful, you are much more likely to be content, and to attract more of the same to yourself in the future.

If you are someone who has spent a long time being miserable, or envious, or sad, or grieving, or jealous, gratitude can be very difficult to find. How To Follow Your Intuition And Live More Comfortably

Whatever your religion, belief system or faith, intuition is a gift that we have that can be used to steer our lives more successfully towards getting what we want and enjoying it.

Have you ever been driving along, and suddenly known that you should turn off the road? Or known not to go somewhere because it feels unsafe before you start? Or called someone because you were thinking of them, only to find that they really needed to talk to you? These are just some of the ways that our intuition lets us know which way to turn or that we are needed.

The Purpose and Meaning of Life

According to the Carmel, IN based search engine Cha-Cha, the most sought after search phrase last year was “the meaning of life.” My own search of the phrase on Google told me two things: Wikipedia rules the search waves and Monty Python’s movie on the same topic is still hilarious. They were the top two search results. The meaning of life for me, however, I will not find on a Google search, although my favorite software giant can help. It’s all about choices.

The meaning of life is relative to the person that is living it. The Talmud teaches that your soul enters your body aware of who and what you are as a unique soul – that the angels taught to you all that you needed to know for the life that you were destined to live. Read More→
