We live in a society that is addicted to fast, young, beautiful, and me, more, now. We are constantly told that we need to have this gadget, or make up, or job in order to be lovable, and in our constant quest for the quick fix, we really lose sight of ourselves.
It is remarkable that we spent so much time, money, and effort to look youthful and vital, and then condone men who leave their wives for a younger model. It is also tragic to see the vast numbers of young women, and increasingly men, who are electing to have surgery in order to be more…..whatever it is that they are chasing- thinner, more beautiful, younger, bigger breasts, and so on.
