Questions to Ask Yourself to Get Clarity About Your Life and Where It’s Going

By Arlene

By Maria Erving

One emotion and state of mind that most people feel is the most difficult to deal with is the sense of not having any clarity about anything. We feel powerless, clueless and frustrated by not knowing what we want, why things are as they are, what to do, which way to go and we can place ourselves in a very negative space by obsessing or feeling guilt over not knowing.

We want so much, wish and dream, we see it and we feel entitled to greatness, but we don’t know HOW we are going to get it, and we struggle because we think that we have to know everything about everything. Read More→

If asked why we did something, especially if that something created internal or external turmoil, we are often at a loss to answer or our answer is “that’s just the way I am.” When most likely we are following what I like to call “the code book of our life”. A code book comprised of a combination of early decisions as well as one later ones which reinforce these. Decisions we made about “Who I am?,” “What is my world and the people in it like?” “Where do I belong?” “What’s possible for me?” The part of us that knows the contents of this code book is mostly semi-conscious, but is in the driver seat and takes its directions from these decisions. Join The Global Wake Up Call

By Arlene

By Beth Ambard

“It’s time to way-eek uuuup!”

I remember hearing these exact words every morning as a child with my mother’s loving hands stroking my face and cheeks. It was not often that I resisted the call because I knew she had been up since before daylight preparing muffins, pancakes, and fresh squeezed orange juice. She was a wonderful cook and I loved everything she prepared, from ox tail soup to strawberry stuffed crepes. When she became ill with cancer I was a teenager and I continued to wake up early in the mornings, now before she did to help in the kitchen. On the rare occasion that I prepared breakfast it was simple but much appreciated by my siblings. These days I continue my mother’s tradition of cooking in the mornings, waking up early and delighting my boys with their favorites. Read More→
