By Elliot Zovighian

Everywhere you look people are struggling. Struggling to earn a living, or maintain what they have. Even to find happiness in the everyday moments in life. Yet, it is this struggle that defines us. We are meant to go through difficulties in order for us to learn and grow. It’s up to us to find the wisdom in it and be better because of it.

If you’re finding yourself in a situation you don’t particularly like, ask yourself, what am I doing about it? Have you put yourself into a position of winning? Read More→

The Worst Thing That Can Happen Is Not That You Fail!

By Tracey Loren Steinberg

The worst thing that can happen is not that you fail, it is that you think of yourself as a failure and give up. That is by far the worst thing that can happen and the good news is that you are in control of trying again because there are always new opportunities to try for if you look for them.

You want, more than anything, to share what you have discovered. The Divine Urge is bubbling up through you, just waiting to burst forth… Read More→

Which Order Do We Obey?

By Arlene
Tuesday, May 10th, 2011

By Daniel Min Kim

I was watching a show “Supernatural” and there are two brothers. The archangel Michael, and Lucifer. Michael had orders from God Himself to kill his brother. Lucifer made this point: Why do we have to fight each other? Why do we have to listen to him and kill each other? Can’t we just walk away and live our lives? Can we stop being chess pieces? And Michael responded: No. Because I’m not disobedient like you. I follow orders.

We look at authority figures, laws and parents as “higher” because we think that they can see the “greater good.” A parent tells a child to stop watching tv and go to bed. We may gripe about it now, but by following that order, we are able to wake up the next morning in time for school. Read More→
