They say: “Whatever you believe, you’re right.” It doesn’t matter if what you believe doesn’t serve you, or if it’s negative and limiting, if it is what you believe it WILL be how you experience your life.

Whatever you are going through your belief is the cause and how you are living is the effect. Oh, I know, you can argue that you didn’t ask to be fired, or to be left by your partner, or to be treated badly, or to lose your house, or to be in debt etc. But, that doesn’t mean that somewhere in the back of your mind, there isn’t an unconscious fear of, or doubts about or an underlying insecurity that is lying dormant in your mind. It’s spring; time to get moving! As we can begin to throw open the windows and doors to air out the stagnation of winter, so we can do the same for our lives. If you are feeling stuck, or if you look around and see undone projects, bursting closets, and growing piles of stuff, spring is the perfect time to clear out and let in something new. The sap is beginning to flow in the trees, seeds that have been dormant all winter begin to sprout and push their way through the dirt seeking the sun, flowers begin to bloom. Spring is the season of new beginnings, renewal, and regeneration. Allow some rejuvenation into your life with some spring cleaning!

Take a look around you; how much stuff do you have? Read More→

May what I do flow from me like a river, no forcing and no holding back, the way it is with children. Rilke’s Book of Hours

Our thoughts and emotions are far more powerful than most of us realize. They create our happiness, our unhappiness, and they are totally responsible for the life we are currently living. In fact, they not only shape our own lives, they literally impact the ongoing evolution of our universe. Read More→

By Nan McAdam

When we come into this world we are clean slates, with very little written on them. As we grow, we mirror those around us. This is a learning mechanism that is hardwired into humans. When we observe someone doing a task, our brain fires off neurons. These neurons fire off in the same sequences as they would if we were doing the task ourselves. We are programmed to imitate other people. We are wired for conformity. As a learning tool, it is very effective. But, could this conformity stifle our success?
