You’ve heard of looking at life through rose colored glasses. Well this concept has many different definitions. But the most common is having an attitude that things are better than they really are. Okay so if what you focus on materializes it would behoove you to do that. Glasses are worn to see correctly but what if you wore glasses to see your life exactly the way you want it.
When you think of glass, you probably think of eyeglasses, the cola loved by millions was once stored in a sexy glass bottle or your favorite nutritional beverage might be stored in a glass bottle. Glass is optically transparent & so are you. You have the ability to get crystal clear & design a fabulous future when you use your imagination.
I made a conscious decision to look at my life through sexy glass & envision it exactly the way I want it to be. It serves no purpose to ponder “ugly stuff”. My goal is to continue to align myself for more beauty, glamour & bliss. How about you?
Seeing is believing…
In order to believe, you must be able to envision the desired change first. We are taught early in life to disregard anything we cannot see or touch. When in fact we can create our success. Every idea or action starts with a thought. When you use your imagination you are forming mental images, sensations and concepts, in a moment when they are not perceived through sight, hearing or other senses.
Back in the 1970s, when the human-potential movement was just beginning to emerge, research revealed that the human nervous system can’t tell the difference between a real event and an imagined event.
Real or Fake
You are using your imagination every second of the day so why not use it constructively. Too many times in life we have allowed our own deep-seated negative beliefs about our lives to bring forth more of what we don’t want into our lives. So if you have imagined problems, obstacles, difficulties & limitation to one degree or another you have created those experiences yourself.
Decide today that you will look at your life through sexy glass & start using your imagination to the fullest extent possible. You might ask, what does that mean. First things first, decide what kind of life you want. Then start picturing yourself living your new life. Don’t hold back. Bring forth all of your desires.
The more vivid you make it in bright, living, moving, color the better. For optimum results, use all five senses to work for you in reaching your desired goals. By combining the elements of sight, smell, sound, taste and touch to visualize your desired end-result, it becomes more real to your imagination and, as a result, becomes deeply embedded in your subconscious which, as discussed above, becomes your reality.
I recommend visualizing as vividly as possible of what you want for 10 minutes before your beauty sleep. When you rise in the morning do the same.
If you’re not sure you know how to use your imagination. I’m here to tell you. You can, just start & like anything it takes practice. Sometimes until you get good at it, it may only be words or feelings that come to you. That’s okay but the more you practice the easier it will become.
Its simplicity is beautiful, but like most transformational work, it only works if you work it.
Some may not agree but as I gain a better understanding of the power of the mind, I encourage exercising and developing your imagination! If you want to be a modern chic & conquer the world. Strut through your day with grace & ease looking through sexy glass.
Here’s a helpful hint to remember. Start visualizing in the NOW in the PRESENT, where you can feel all five senses. See, Smell, Taste, Hear and Touch…
