Well the good news is that it’s pretty much possible to be in be constant enthusiasm. As an analogy it’s like saying whether one can be well nourished at all times. Currently, we’re going through a transition wherein we’ve pretty much taken care of our physical nourishment. Malnutrition is no more a challenge for most of us. We however go through the Rollacoaster ride of high energy and subsequent loss of energy. What we now need are perhaps not many dietitians but energy workers giving guidance on how to maintain a constant energy level at all times.
The basic prerequisite to maintain a constant flow of energy is to have access to an abundant source of energy and the ability to connect to it at regular intervals. Nature has created many such sources. These are places of scenic beauty, inspiring music / people, places of worship, cultivating a hobby, ones own self etc. The most easily accessible source is however the present moment. This source is closest and which is a surest point of entry in the space-time continuum.
There is a concept that energy workers have been mentioning for years together. This is the concept of going WITHIN. I’ve struggled on several occasions on what going within actually means. I’ve visualized it to doing scuba diving wherein one goes to the bottom of the sea where one observes a sense of stillness. I’ve not been able to do much progress by following this approach. It’s perhaps the present moment consciousness. It’s the experience of expansion where you experience being fully present and alive.
Going WITHIN could possibly be understood by knowing the difference between watching / glorifying an ice cream and the palatal satisfaction it provides by eating it. One can endlessly look for external inspiration for finding happiness, but the true meaning can be derived by simply being aware of the liveliness within and finding means to keep this liveliness alive.
In order to be constantly lively one need to understand what life is. Generally, we attribute life to the forms of human creation or tie it up with time. We more often than not say life is bad or life sucks. At other times when we are upbeat and happy we say life is happening. Life is formless and has got no name or meaning for the perception of the human mind if it’s not transmuted into human creation that can be appreciated by the five senses. That’s why a householder when posed with the question about the purpose of life would try to find answers in creating physical forms. A mystic would most likely say there is no purpose to life at all. This is because the mystic is perceiving life as formlessness and as a creative force for creating forms of creation. On its own therefore life has got no meaning. Finding meaning is an insatiable need of the human mind. This trait of the human mind has made progress possible for eons of years and has translated into advancement. Many successful people have openly proclaimed that desire is necessary for any form of creation or progress. The mystic has however encouraged human beings to drop desires. This is mainly due to the respective perceptions of how each defines life.
Doing what you are best at could seem like a daunting thought. As long as you believe that you are gifted is sufficient, and as long as you can forget what other people think it’s more than perfect.
Things that you’re good at give you an easy entry into present moment consciousness. And, capacity to use those skills provides satisfaction. Reliving the present moment frequently brings healing. In fact the healing is instantaneous as the present moment is without issues, and there is nothing that can be packed into it. It’s a vacuum like state where matter cannot exist.
Enthusiasm, acceptance and responsiveness are what you inherit in present moment consciousness.
