bodylanguageIf it’s hard for you to arrange and go out on dates that could possibly turn into a real relationship, you’re not alone. It is very common for single people to run into this little dilemma. Taking the time to learn about body language and attraction will make this process much easier for you to deal with. Most human communication is done without words, so you don’t need words to express how you feel. Eye contact and body position are the only 2 things you need to get your message across. This article explains how body language and attraction are related.

Words Aren’t Necessary
A critical part of the body language and attraction puzzle is learning the skill of talking without saying a word. Most of our daily communication is non-verbal. It’s surprising, but these “silent signals” account for up to 90% of your “speaking”. These unspoken signals have 5 times more of an impact on the people that receive them when compared against the words that you say. Whether your intention is to figure out if someone is flirting with you, or to do some flirting of your own, this is a very valuable piece of information.

Learn To Communicate Through Flirting
Being able to flirt comfortably with the opposite sex is absolutely crucial to your success in the dating world. In addition to that, you’ll also want to be able to know for sure when someone is flirting with you. Using the right kind of body language is an excellent way for you to flirt and signal attraction. When compared to walking up to somebody and telling them how interested you are, using body language is a snap. Eye contact is the easiest signal to notice from other people, as well as the easiest one for you to use yourself.

Eye Contact
When trying to get a grasp on how body language and attraction relate to each other, eye contact is very important. Be careful here though. You have to maintain eye contact for just the right amount of time if you want to express your interest to somebody. It can be offending to some people if you make eye contact long enough for it to feel like a staring contest. At the same time, you don’t want to give the impression that you are shy and uncomfortable by not holding eye contact long enough. Maintaining eye contact for a few seconds is a nice balance between too much and too little. Body position is next on the list of signals to look for and start using yourself.

Body Position
Keeping an eye on a person’s body position is another way for you to figure out if they’re interested in you. Body position is also something you can adjust to let somebody know how you feel. If a person feels comfortable with you, and open to what you have to say, they will show you by turning their body to face you directly. They’ll send the opposite message if they stand at an angle to you with their arms folded. Men tend to fiddle with their ties or shirt buttons when they’re interested, while women send the same message by playing with their hair. When a man or woman is interested in the person they are communicating with, doing these little gestures is a way of looking their best for that person.

To Conclude…
There’s an obvious connection between body language and attraction, and what I’ve discussed above will give you a great start. More than half of all human communication is done through body language, without using words. To flirt and signal attraction, you only need two things: eye contact and body position. You’ll see a lot more success in the dating world if you find out how to spot, understand, and put these signals to use.
