Believe In Yourself And Others Will Too

By Jon Bohman

Giving up on ourselves seems to easy at times. Believing in yourself is hard especially when all your experiences seem to support your low self esteem. here are some ways to help you believe in yourself.

Reality of life:
We are all striving to accomplish something each and every day. Sometimes things seem more difficult than others. Each attempt we make either enhances our belief in our ability to succeed or fail. In addition the more it appears anyone can do it the more we won’t give up.

Take driving for example. Even though there are many things you must be aware, we all seem to think its easy to do. After all, did you give up after failing your first or second driving test or quiz? No, of course not. There are so many people driving you thought if you stuck with it you knew you would get your license.

Believe in yourself and others will believe in you too

Unlike driving many people give up on their dreams and goals long before they try them. Whether because of a harsh word or two, or a bad experience trying them, they simply decide its to difficult and go a different direction. Often those things that touch them deep within their souls are never forgotten leading to a lot of heartache and frustration. Follow these guidelines to help improve your life.

1. Attitude. Your attitude is controlled by you and you alone. NO ONE else is responsible for you feeling bad, or not liking yourself. Regardless of what has happened to you, you have the power to change how you see yourself and the feelings you have about yourself. If you are around people that are negative, angry, hateful, then move on and find others to surround yourself with. You will have to find love and peace within yourself before they show up in abundance, however getting away from the negative influence is a great first step.

2. Go for it regardless of what others think. No matter what you hear others say or do, keep taking action towards your goals. Nothing will make you fail faster than stopping to take action.

3. Your opinion is just as important as others. Everyone has their own opinions and beliefs about what is “smart to do”, what is “good” and what isn’t. The key to remember is that those beliefs are for that individual specifically. They see things in a certain way and want you to have the same happiness as well. They are usually trying to help you live better, so appreciate their concern. While you appreciate it don’t let it become more important than your own desires and goals.
