Healing Through Colour Perception

By Daniel

By Sheila Moore

It is said that if a group of people sat in a circle, and were encouraged to discuss the colour RED in depth, their speech would gradually speed up, they would get hotter and become agitated and tense. Change the subject to the colour Blue and speech slows down, breathing slows down, time appears to go more slowly and gradually the group becomes more lethargic and runs out of conversation. So RED is a colour that helps us to be more assertive, gives us courage and determination. As you grow older however, values change, ideas differ and circumstances make it impossible to maintain hundreds of friends. Not that you forget them, but everyone drifts away to lives of their own and you find that only a few are left with whom you can really talk and pour your heart out to. Read More→

A Woman’s Dream: Perfect Balance in Family and Career

‘Can You Have It All?’ is a frequent topic for debate, interesting mainly among women – men somehow do not seem to have to ask the question. It is also the title of the biography by Nicola Horlick, nicknamed in the British media as ‘Superwoman’ for seemingly managing to run her own multi-million dollar investment company whilst running a home, bringing up five children, and still managing to look good. Money certainly ‘buys’ some time and relief from stress. The housework can be delegated, the ironing, the cooking, cleaning the car etc. But a telephone call to a friend, reading a book, conversation and fun with the family cannot be outsourced.
