What is the first thing that you think about when you think of money?
Is it lack of? Not enough? Fear? Worry?
What is the first feeling you have when you think of money?
Is it panic? Do you get a pit in your stomach?

Often when people think of money, or a situation arises around money, their first reaction is fear or panic.

In order to attract more money – or situations and opportunities to create more money, you must line up your mind and your emotions to match having money. Thoughts and feelings of lack, worry, fear, panic, are not lined up. These types of thoughts and feelings are just the opposite.

To be lined up with having more money, our thoughts and feelings must be ones of having enough, abundance, gratitude, and joyful expectation.

So how do we switch from feeling fear or lack to abundance and gratitude when everyday we are facing not having enough?

For most people, trying to move from fear and worry to abundance and expectation when it comes to money is just too big of a jump. The emotional distance between the two is just too great so many people are not able to close the distance.

A way to close the gap is to get comfortable with the idea and the feelings of having money. And there is a way to do it without actually having to have a handful of money!

If you use your thoughts to imagine and visualize, over time you become more comfortable around the topic you are thinking about.

Including money!

As you become more comfortable around a topic, it seems more natural to you, and your belief level around the topic increases.

If you remember back when you were learning to ride a bike, at first it was hard and you had to focus intensely on what you were doing. But once you learned how to ride it became easy – natural.

Or remember when you were first learning to read. At first nothing made sense, it was hard and foreign. But again, once you knew how to read it became easy and natural. When you read now you can zip along without giving it any thought about how your mind is processing the words on the paper.

Or have you ever driven anywhere completely lost in thought and after you reached your destination you realize that you didn’t even notice the drive. You got there on autopilot.

Once something becomes known to the subconscious mind, it becomes natural and easy. The same applies with money – create a new comfort zone around money in your mind and it becomes a way of life. Just like riding a bike.

So how do we become comfortable around money when we don’t have any?

Start by relaxing and getting comfortable. Then create a movie in your mind around money that puts you and lots of money together in a fun and relaxed way.

Maybe you are in a bank fault tossing money into the air. Maybe you sitting in your living room surrounded by gold bars. Maybe you are in the back of a security truck full of money rolling around in it.

Or maybe your are having a ‘money fight’ – throwing rolls of million dollar bills at someone.

Whatever situation you make up make sure you make it fun, and make sure you are surrounded with lots and lots of money.

Replay your mind movie as often as you can. The more you imagine and visualize yourself with lots of money, the faster your mind with be more comfortable with the idea of lots of money.

And once your mind is comfortable around money, it will create a new belief about money, and heaven and earth will start to move to make your new belief a reality.
